Brand Talks - Speaker, RJ Johns
“We judge books by their covers, and we can't help but do it.”
- Nicholas Rule, Department of Psychology, University of Toronto
As soon as you see another person, an impression is formed. This happens so quickly – just a small fraction of a second. We have no more than seven seconds to make an initial impression. These impressions (both visual and audible) are so powerful, that they can override what we are told about each other.
What does your book cover say about you?
My name is RJ Johns and I enjoy helping both large and small groups improve their personal brand. In addition to first impressions, we cover color theory, and discuss how to magnify our strengths. These personal brand talks improve productivity, boost morale, and encourage participants to move forward in excellence.
I am originally from Atlanta and have lived in Pennsylvania (Westtown School), Washington D.C. (Howard University), and Savannah for grad school (Savannah College of Art and Design). I enjoy long walks on the beach, sarcasm, international travel, and volunteering for causes that provide under-served children with education and resources. Based in Atlanta, I am currently a board member of Integrity Mentors, a girls mentoring program, and serve as a remote Triple M mentor for the Irving, Tx. Independent School District.
So enough about me, let's hear about this event you're planning! I'd be honored to join you at your next event or conference. Let's talk 'brand'.
